RECONSTRUCT »3rd Project Workshop, Croatia«

The Erasmus+ project RECONSTRUCT - Forensic Structural Engineering Database for Higher Education successfully held its third international workshop on 30-31 March 2026 at GRAFOS, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Croatia, bringing together project partners from across Europe.

The workshop focused on advancing key project components, including the refinement of interactive learning tools, evaluation of user engagement data, and the development of course content for the upcoming pilot programme. Participants reviewed progress on innovative “escape room” learning modules, which have received positive feedback for their interactive and educational value.

Discussions also addressed strategies to improve accessibility, enhance learning analytics, and align project outcomes with defined performance indicators. Partners agreed on next steps to standardize content, expand digital resources, and strengthen dissemination activities.

In addition, planning for the pilot course progressed, with initial agreement on its structure, duration, and implementation timeline. The course is expected to combine virtual and in-person elements, offering an interdisciplinary learning experience for postgraduate students.

The workshop marked another important milestone in fostering collaboration and advancing innovative teaching approaches in forensic structural engineering.
