Sophia Scherer (*1991, Darmstadt) studied Art and Cultural Management at the Karlshochschule Karlsruhe, Art and Visual History at the Humboldt University in Berlin and Asian Studies/Art History at the Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, she completed a Master's degree in Curatorial Studies at the Goethe University and the Städelschule Frankfurt am Main. She is particularly interested in reflecting on intermediary artistic practices that relate to public spaces and debates. She was an assistant at Studio Karin Sander (2017-2021), worked on publication projects for the MMK, Frankfurt a.M. (2020) and the Deutsche Bank Collection, Frankfurt a.M. (2017) and as a curatorial assistant for Portikus, Frankfurt a.M. (2023). She curated her own projects such as the group exhibitions OFFFENCE, Spoiler.Aktionsraum Berlin (2022); Another Dimension, Oranienstraße 161, Berlin (2022); and the solo show Elsa Stanyer: Ungrowing, fffriedrich Frankfurt a.M. (2021). She was also a fellow of the Julia Stoschek Foundation's Curatorial Research & Residency Program (2021/2022) and curated the exhibition project OUT OF SPACE: DUSSELDORF VARIATION, which showed video works from the collection in Düsseldorf's urban space (2022). She works as a freelance curator and author and has been part of the BPA// Berlin program for artists since 2022.

Katharina Wendler studied Applied Cultural Sciences and Psychology (BA) at Leuphana Universität Lüneburg, as well as Art and Image History (MA) at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin and at the University of Iceland, Reykjavik. After assistantships at Konrad Fischer Gallery, Berlin, i8 Gallery, Reykjavik, and The Contemporary Arts Museum, Tampa, Florida, she was Associate Director of Daniel Marzona Gallery, Berlin and Director of both the exhibition space SAFN Berlin (2013-2017) and the studio of Karin Sander (2016-2018). In early 2018 she initiated the dialogue-based exhibition series __in conversation with__ and joined the curatorial collective FLURR in 2019. She currently works as Curator and Academic Associate at the Faculty of Art and Design at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, where she is in charge of curating the university gallery’s program. As a freelance curator and writer, she has realized numerous exhibitions and publications with emerging as well as established artists and institutions.
