short description:
As part of the collection exhibition ‘Dynamic Spaces’, students of the “Art in Public Space and New Artistic Strategies” programme at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar present their own picture vocabularies and integrate them into a 6-hour performance cycle within the work Formel:Marionette by Suse Weber. During the performance, the picture vocabulary will be rearranged according to individually developed narratives. The marionette, which is part of the installation, functions both as a tool - carrier of the visual vocabulary - and as a metaphor: in collaboration with Weber, the students dissolve the strict separation between work, artist and audience and ask: ‘Who is playing’ and who is ‘being played’?
The students' entire picture vocabulary will be on display in the installation until 25 November 2025.

We would like to express our sincere thanks for their support and hospitality to:
GfK team, director and curator Franciska Zólyom, especially Julia Eckert, collection curator and accompanist for the performance at Museum Night, Bauhaus University Weimar
