The Professorship of Design Theory and Design Research is a research-driven group dedicated to pioneering research, innovative teaching, and expanded forms of transfer. It explores the roles and boundaries of design and technology, media and culture, and, not least, creativity and future. A particular focus lies on contemporary design cultures, with an emphasis on digital, material, and epistemic perspectives, as well as their embedding in broader theoretical, cultural, and historical contexts.
