Hainich National Park

Hainich Nationalpark

Covering an area of 130 km², Hainich National Forest is the largest contiguous deciduous forest area in Germany. Since the Hainich was a restricted military area for decades, large parts of the forest were hardly ever entered, allowing its stands to grow and develop. Today, the Hainich National Park is a famous World Heritage Site and home to numerous animal species, including deers, badgers and wildcats!

Let's discover the Hainich together! On our excursion, we will visit an absolute highlight - the treetop walk. The 540m-long wooden path winds its way through the treetops and offers a fantastic 360° panoramic view of the majestic forest.
