Bauhaus Dessau

Dessau is an absolute must see for everyone interested in the history of modern design. From 1926 to 1932, the city was home to the globally renowned Bauhaus. Bauhaus, founded in Weimar in 1919 by Walter Gropius is one of the most famous schools of architecture and art and stands for architectural icons, minimalist designs and experiments in form and color.

On a guided tour through the Bauhaus School and the Master’s Houses, we will travel back to the time of classical modernism and explore Bauhaus’ revolutionary ideas in building, designing and living. Additional input will await you at the Bauhaus Museum.
