The Moodle course »Wissenschaftliches Arbeiten@Bauhaus« (Scientific Work@Bauhaus) provides information, methods and tips on scientific work practice. Step by step, the self-study course guides students through the various phases of writing a scientific paper, from concept development and literature research all the way to presentation.
The course contains both, first important information as well as detailed explanations of general guidelines and discipline-specific approaches for the successful editing of a scientific paper.
As an interdisciplinary online self-study course, »Wissenschaftliches Arbeiten@Bauhaus« is aimed at all students and PhD candidates at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
The course can be used both as part of taught modules and independently of compulsory courses as a supplementary learning resource. Content can be selected according to individual areas of interest and worked through flexibly at one’s own pace. In this way, the course offers the opportunity to deepen and specifically develop skills in academic work in a needs-based manner.
Self-enrolment in the course is possible using the following enrolment codes:
In addition, you can integrate the course room and the existing teaching and learning materials into your teaching. As a lecturer, you can export individual materials from the course and use them in your teaching, or recommend that your students work through specific sections of the self-study course.
Since 2017, students on the Bachelor’s programme in Construction Management have been using the Moodle course »Wissenschaftliches Arbeiten@Bauhaus«, and since 2019, part-time students on the course »Construction Project Management in an International Context« have been doing the same.
