All articles are subject to a peer review process. Submitted articles are first checked for suitability by the editor-in-chief before being sent to the editorial board or reviewers.
The following criteria are used in the review process: relevance of the topic, clarity of the argumentation, literature and sources, readability, quality of the conclusions, quality of the illustrations. We ask our reviewers to submit their feedback to the editorial team within four weeks. The feedback will be sent to the authors for revision. Changes can be accepted or rejected with reasons. The final decision on the acceptance of the article is made by the editorial team.
The reviewers must treat their evaluations confidentially and may not pass the manuscript on to third parties before publication. The reviewers will not be remunerated financially, but may be named on the journal's website with their consent.
