Call: Insight into Research 2020
Submit your process documentation, tools, material specimens, models, images, archive material, etc. and show your work process, progress, interim results or milestones to a broad audience!
There will be a short video clip (3-5 minutes) about your research project on a tablet, which highlights your work or work process, based on an exhibition guide as well as on the exhibits you submit (pictures, films, audio recordings, objects etc.). The aim is to give an insight into your research and to communicate the most important research contents, methods, results or goals. These can also be impressions, snapshots or milestones of your research process.
How does the whole thing work?
We offer you a frame and you insert your content!
Create your video with the help of a trainer:
In preparation for the doctoral exhibition we offer the online course „Der Ton macht den Film!“, where you can create your exhibition video from the comfort of your own home. The course focuses on the design of audiovisual presentations, to communicate your own research projects (video sequences, photo slideshows, animation, animated typography, time lapse). The technical requirements are reduced to smartphones and tablets. In addition to audiovisual fundamentals, basics of editing including editing software will be taught in this course.
The course contents will be taught in German, questions can also be answered in English.
