Welcome to summaery
Dear Alumni,
What’s making waves at your alma mater today? What new ideas, projects, and perspectives are emerging on campus? At summaery2026, which is taking place from 9 to 12 July, this is exactly what we want to show you – we hope you’ll come and join us.
Get ready to learn about exciting new work and projects, inspiring encounters, and the opportunity to chat with students, faculty, and other alumni. The annual exhibition doesn’t just cover what’s happening at the University today – it’s also a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. Whether you want to revisit old memories, expand your network, or are just feeling curious, we hope to see you there!
Students and instructors at the University will be presenting their work and ideas and holding discussions both on campus as well as in and around the city. This year’s motto is »prompt‽« and the concept as a topic to be critically examined was developed by the event organisers, the Faculty of Media. »Prompt« is both a call to action and a catalyst. It represents speed, precision, and reactivity. It also refers to the central point of interaction between humans and artificial intelligence as the input that determines the answers, images, analysis, and designs that emerge. The interrobang »‽« combines question and exclamation, representing curiosity and urgency, experimentation and reflection, openness and responsibility. »summaery2026« takes place within this duality.
