At FALLING WALLS LAB Jena on 10 September, students, early career researchers and innovators from different disciplines will take the stage with their ideas. They have just three minutes to explain what they are working on, what problem they want to solve and why their idea matters.

As part of the audience, you won’t just be watching: you get a vote. Alongside the jury’s decision, the audience will choose its own favourite and give the Audience Award.

It’s a chance to discover some of the most innovative ideas currently emerging from our scientific community – across disciplinary boundaries and condensed into three-minute pitches.

And once the winners have been announced, we’ll keep the evening going: there will be a buffet, and afterwards DJ Neopren will take over as we celebrate the winners and dance into the night.
