WE ARE MAPPING: Your Echo in the Silence, Your Trembling in the Light

Für das Genius Loci Weimar Festival 2026 suchen wir kreative Stimmen für ein gemeinsames Kunstprojekt im öffentlichen Raum.

Erstelle eine 1-minütige Animation zum Thema „Demokratie & Gesellschaft“, die Teil einer interaktiven Projection-Mapping-Installation wird. Das Publikum kann mit grünen Laserpointern direkt in die Projektion eingreifen und so selbst Teil des Kunstwerks werden.

Gesucht werden internationale Künstler, Animator und Designer. Deine Arbeit wird im Rahmen des Genius Loci Weimar Festivals auf der Fassade des mon ami in Weimar präsentiert.

For Genius Loci Weimar Festival 2026, we are looking for creative voices to take part in a collective public art project.

Create a one-minute animation responding to the theme “Democracy & Society” that will become part of an interactive projection mapping installation. The audience can use green laser pointers to interact directly with the projection, becoming part of the artwork themselves.

We are looking for international artists, animators and designers. Selected works will be presented on the façade of mon ami in Weimar during Genius Loci Weimar Festival.
