Joshua Haack:
rhythm and perception sh ift.
we pull an hour from the morning, giving the evening an afterglow.
a ritual, an installation made of invi sible materials:: time, light, routine.
we’re looking for multidisciplinary contributions for exhibition + li ve-moments
the focus is on anything that leaves a trace in the space or on the body::
visible, tangible, as a sign, a mark, or an afterimage.
by body we don’t only mean surface, but also inner space::
perception, mood, memory, nervous system, breath, gaze, focus.
we’re interested in works that touch, trigger, or recode these layers without having to explain everything, as well as hybrid formats that can exist between exhibition and live – short, clear setups as well as space-expanding interventions. contributions can be quiet or loud, minimal or overdriven, intimate or collective. what matters is that they function as a setting: as a gesture, as a cut, as a shift.
looking for:
EXHIBITION
• visual art (painting, drawing, photography, print, text/typo, collage)
• objects (object work, sculpture, assemblage, material studies)
• spatial (installation, intervention, light, site-specific setups)
&&& more
LIVE
• sound / live-sound (live electronics, improvised setups, soundscapes)
• performance (physical, choreographic, conceptual, durational)
• spoken word / reading (text, poetry, lecture-formats, live-reading)
• tattoo (live tattoo as part of the night)
&&& more
hybrid formats are explicitly welcome:: between exhibition &&& live, between object &&& action, between light &&& sound.
