Treffpunkt ist um 12 Uhr am Marktplatz. Von dort aus werden die internationalen Teilnehmer*innen des Student Forum on Future Democracy zusammen mit Eisenacher*innen und den Studierenden der Bauhaus-Universität eine rund einstündige Wanderung zur Wartburg unternehmen. Auf der Wartburg ist ein kleines Catering geplant, das Raum für Gespräche und Begegnungen bietet. Außerdem werden die internationalen Forum-Studierenden Auszüge aus der sogenannten Wartburg-Erklärung vorstellen, die sie während der Forumswoche erarbeiten. Abgerundet wird die Veranstaltung voraussichtlich durch den Auftritt eines lokalen Chors.
Veranstalterin ist die Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Erforschung der Demokratie-Geschichte.
Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos. Der Bus-Transfer von der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar nach Eisenach und zurück wird gestellt. Save the date: Saturday, October 18, 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Eisenach
The meeting point is at 12 noon at the market square in Eisenach. From there, the international participants of the Student Forum on Future Democracy, together with residents of Eisenach and students from the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, will take a roughly one-hour hike to Wartburg Castle. A small catering event is planned at Wartburg Castle, which will provide space for discussions and encounters. In addition, the international forum students will present excerpts from the so-called Wartburg Declaration, which they will develop during the forum week. The event is expected to be rounded off by a performance by a local choir.
The event is organized by the German Society for the Study of the History of Democracy.
Participation is free of charge. Bus transfer from the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar to Eisenach and back will be provided.
