Video of zdf@bauhaus on the Occasion of summaery2019 online
The »summaery2019« annual exhibition kicked off with the presence of a ZDF film team on the campus of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Presenter Jo Schück and his team interviewed students and teachers about their art and research projects in preparation for the concert recording for the »zdf@bauhaus« series.
In the short video entitled »Bauhaus Myth«, students responsible for stage design, graduates of product design and summaery participants from the fields of fine arts and architecture all got to have their say. During the interviews, presenter Jo Schück was particularly interested in the extent to which the Bauhaus influence can still be perceived today in academia and teaching.
The result is a number of atmospheric images of the summaery projects and buildings of the university, which are now available in the 3sat media library:
Two concert recordings of the »zdf@bauhaus« series took place on the campus of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar for this year's annual exhibition. The performances of Wanda and Nico Santos will be broadcast this Saturday, 21 September 2019 starting at 9:45 pm.

In occasion of the centenary year of the Bauhaus, the 3sat music series, running since 2011, changed its location and went back to the origins of the art school, at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, which is precisely where the Bauhaus was founded in 1919. In the short video entitled »Bauhaus Myth«, the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar of today is illustrated by means of summaery projects and spaces.
