Bauhaus-Universität Weimar: Studies

The most recent call for bids on 1 July 2019 attracted 17 applications for student-led teaching projects. The Presidium approved a total of 50,000 euros of funding for the 2019/20 winter semester, which means a total of 13 projects from across all four faculties can take place. The individual projects will be published on the Bauhaus.Modules website and the Bison portal. Students who are teaching can also connect with one another using the moodle digital learning platform.

The first implementation of this project took place in the 2018/19 winter semester in connection with the Bauhaus.Semester. All student-led teaching projects were evaluated during the May 2019 Tag der Lehre: »I have never learned as much as I did in this semester. It opened up an enormous potential for development and a great deal of new opportunities for my future«, said one teaching student about her experience. These assessments formed the foundation for the current call for Bauhaus.Module bids.

In addition to student-led teaching projects at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, there are other funding opportunities for supporting guest lecturers and interdisciplinary courses. The university is thrilled about the 36 applications for which 60,000 euros of funding is available. Successful applications will be announced in mid-August 2019. The next call for bids for interdisciplinary course concepts and drafts has been planned for September.
