7.5. Update #2 Ways to step-by-step opening of workshops, workrooms and studios as well as lending of equipment at the Faculty of Art and Design
Workshops and Labs
At present, for students who have already registered their final theses and are planning to use the workshops the staff of the workshops are available with the most comprehensive service measures possible. Access to the workshop or the general loan of equipment is currently not possible. The central idea is that the workshop colleagues produce the work for the students according to plans and (digital) arrangements.

Lending of photo and video equipment
A concept is currently being developed for the lending of photo and video equipment, which should make it possible to lend and return equipment and to disinfect it in a timely manner. The premise here is to organise the handover with as little contact as possible.
Access to workrooms and project spaces
At the moment the workrooms cannot be opened for students. In urgent cases: Students who desperately need materials and objects from their work rooms, please get back by e-mail at the Dean's Office (dekanat[at]gestaltung.uni-weimar.de) to make an appointment.
Access to rooms for examination purposes
Students who require access to rooms for examinations must register this with the Dean's Office (dekanat[at]gestaltung.uni-weimar.de), stating the date and the names of the examiners.
Important: Please schedule a two-week lead time for coordination and organization, since a case-by-case check of necessary hygiene measures must take place before the room is granted access.
