Bauhaus Studio 100 opens part five of the »Unser Bauhaus« exhibition series

So far 61 of 100 actors have had the opportunity to present their works as part of the »Bauhaus Studio100« exhibition series. In the fifth part, under the rubric »Unser Bauhaus« (our Bauhaus), a diverse range of exhibits will be displayed in an interdisciplinary, multi-layered and overriding context.

In this penultimate part of »Bauhaus Studio100« in Weimar, textiles, photographs, sounds, objects, products, videos, installations, experiments, and findings from research as well as a live performance are presented at Neufert-Box Gelmeroda by exhibitors who have been involved in the past 25 years of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.

These include:
Daniel Klapsing, Martin Hirsch, Katrin Steiger, Jennifer Rieker, Kristian Gohlke, Timm Burkhardt, Viola Ahrensfeld, Wanda Gaertner, Stephan Deininger, Simone Menge, Muriel McCalla, Hanni Nguyen, Alissa Arends, Niklas Hamann, Lea Matuschzyk, Aleksandr Aleev, Clara Ellguth, Almut Nowack, Eric Geissler, Stephanie Vatamanu, Urs Winandy, Hanna Schüler, Prof. Andreas Mühlenberend, Prof. Dr. med. David Liebetanz and Cindy Cordt

For 100 days the »Bauhaus Studio100« presents 100 actors from the fields of art, design, architecture, civil engineering, performance art and music. The exhibition will present the work of alumni as well as those currently studying at contemporary design institutions that see themselves in the tradition of the Bauhaus. It will be accompanied by readings and manifestos, podium lectures and performances, for which the small Bauhaus-Bühne will be launched. The project name refers to the irrepressible artistic energy, synergy and creative scope of the last 100 years of Bauhaus.

Collaboration with the HfG Ulm archive and PRATT Institute Brooklyn in New York establishes an international and supra-regional connection to the Bauhaus Centenary in Weimar. In addition, through the exhibition venues at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, the Kunsthalle Harry Graf Kessler, the Bauhaus Atelier, The Neufert Box in Gelmeroda and the exhibition rooms in the Weimar Gaswerk, Studio 100 will extend across the city of Weimar.
