»go4spring« Winter Semester Exhibition Showcases Current Student Projects in Architecture and Urbanism
From 12 to 15 February 2026, the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar will be opening its doors for their »go4spring« semester exhibition. Students will share insights into their work from the 2025/26 winter semester.
This year’s end-of-semester exhibition reflect a broad range of topics. Part of the focus is on transformation processes in urban and rural areas: Students have been examining current developments in cities and other areas, addressing issues related to housing and social coexistence, and looking at the cultural and political aspects of urban space.
The students’ work also reference various locations and scales, from regional issues in Thuringia to European cities and international venues. Other topics include sustainability, construction, and materiality. A number of works look at resource-friendly construction methods, sustainable structures, and future-focussed construction methods. Many of the projects are interdisciplinary: Digital design and manufacturing methods, experimental presentation formats, and artistic and media approaches expand the spectrum of architectural practice and place architecture and urbanism at the centre of social, cultural, and technological discourse.

The way that go4spring has established itself over the past decade highlights its importance for the Faculty.«
