Register Now: Bauhaus Colloquium for Emerging Researchers 2026
On 5 and 6 March 2026, the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar will be hosting the Bauhaus Colloquium for Emerging Researchers. The event, titled »Methods + Interdisciplinary Research Work«, is dedicated to joint reflection on research practice across disciplinary boundaries and establishing an open space for exchanges on methodological approaches, interdisciplinary perspectives, and current research processes.
Following an exceptionally high response to the call for papers (nearly 60 submissions from scientific and artistic fields from within and outside the University), the colloquium is now open to guests. Those interested can register now and join two days of presentations, panel discussions, and keynote speeches that offer insight into current research and foster dialogue between disciplines.
Th colloquium offers doctoral candidates and postdocs in particular an opportunity to network, engage in critical discussions on methodological approaches, and learn about different research practices. The focus will be on questions such as: Which methods are selected – and why? What role does reflexivity play in research? And how do methodological decisions impact our findings?
