Intervention to commemorate the year of Ukraine war at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar
The rally will take place on 24 February 2023, from 3 to 7 p.m. on the Bauhaus-Universität campus. Speeches, music and food for all will be organized. In addition, an exhibition on this topic will be held in the Oberlichtsaal of the Main building from 24 to 27 February 2023, opening is on Friday, 24 February, 5 p.m. The exhibition »RIK« - Ukrainian for »year« - tells the stories of escape of people who came to Weimar from Ukraine.
On Saturday, 25 February 2023, 4 to 6:30 p.m., Ukrainian students will present their hometowns Kyiv, Cherkasy, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and Odesa.
Sunday, 26 February 2023, two guest lectures will provide information on how the Ukrainian community lives in Weimar. The event also runs from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
The opening hours of the exhibition are Saturday to Monday from 3 to 9 p.m. each day.
