Call for Participation: Search for »Spacing – Lernen zwischen Räumen.« Contributions
In addition to the question of how spaces can be designed so that people can learn effectively and enjoyably in them, the conference will also examine education as a space that can be designed: a place for encounters, participation, and creativity, and an ecologically and socially sustainable space for opportunity. The aim is to establish learning that achieves a sense of closeness, even across physical distances, and using technology to connect rather than divide. It’s about taking design ideas and using them to turn universities into spaces for exchange and resonance.
Two calls for participation invite you to rethink and collaboratively design these learning spaces in creative, critical, and visionary ways. Student contributions are especially welcome.
Call for Participation Lernraum.Bauhaus Symposium
The focus here is on the sensory and experiential aspects of learning: atmosphere, spatial aesthetics, didactic experiments. The focus: Spatial narratives and visions presented in visualisations, models, films, and short essays. The contributions submitted will be presented in an accompanying exhibition.
Call for Participation eTeach Annual Conference
Whether it’s in a seminar room, on a screen, or in a field on campus – learning is no longer limited to one place. The eTeach Annual Conference will look at digitally supported transformation of flexible teaching and learning spaces in four tracks, from using AI in learning spaces to innovative exam formats, learning platforms, and future skills. Possible contribution formats include initiatives, workshops, thematic modules, and posters.
Submissions can be made until 1 June at www.spacing25.de.

Learnraum.Bauhaus carries out research and develops innovative learning environments at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. It focusses on designing teaching and learning spaces that combine digital and physical elements.
