An eventful 2025 is coming to an end. This year has once again highlighted the importance of open-mindedness, willingness to engage in dialogue, and collective commitment. These values are practised at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and their impact extends beyond our University, and this is thanks to you: your interest in exchange, your attentiveness to one another, and your commitment to a respectful and diverse community.
We wish to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who helps shape our University, both from within and from beyond. Thank you for your perspectives, your trust, your inspiration, and the valuable collaborations that shape research, teaching, art and design, knowledge transfer, and civic engagement at our University. Thanks to you, the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar is a place where thoughts can grow into ideas, where new experiences are welcomed, and where creativity, diversity, and tolerance are visibly practised.
This sense of togetherness, within and beyond our University, gives us confidence and strength for the coming year. It encourages us to continue looking to the future with courage, constructiveness, and open-mindedness together with you.
