»Tag der Lehre und des Lernens« at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar
2024 is characterised by significant anniversaries and events in Thuringia: The state elections, the 75th anniversary of the Basic Law, and the 35th anniversary of the Peaceful Revolution. To mark this occasion, topics such as »democracy« and »freedom« in the context of the Year of Science 2024 are shifting into focus together with the themes of »city« and »country« in Thuringia. These topics form the foundation of the cooperation.
The TLL 2024 raises some important questions: How resilient is our democracy against contemporary crises? What freedoms are needed in educational institutions, in digital spaces, in research and in the arts? And how can we protect the freedom of future generations? This event provides a platform for discussing these questions and reflecting together on how teaching and learning can be organised at Thuringian universities.
