Last Friday, 14 November 2025, the neudeli start-up workshop at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar held its first »Innovators Homecoming« event. The aim was to bring successful graduates from different years and disciplines in the fields of start-ups and innovation back to the university, to highlight their diverse career paths, and to strengthen the exchange between alumni, students, and staff.

Die Fakultät Architektur und Urbanistik der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar präsentiert vom 21. November bis 18. Dezember 2025 im Hauptgebäude eine Ausstellung ausgewählter Abschlussarbeiten. Gezeigt werden insgesamt 27 Arbeiten – 14 Bachelor- und 13 Masterprojekte – aus den Studiengängen Architektur, Urbanistik, MediaArchitecture sowie Integrated Urban Development and Design.

Die Künstlerin Sarah Spitzer, Alumna der Fakultät Kunst und Gestaltung, erhält den Preis der Stiftung Ulla und Eberhard Jung 2025. Ausgezeichnet wird ihr medienübergreifender Werkkomplex »Die Entfremdung des Vertrauten« (2022/2025). Wir freuen uns sehr über diese Anerkennung und gratulieren herzlich!

Huge success for Produktdesign (Product Design) at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar: Three final projects from the Faculty of Art and Design made it onto the prestigious VDID Newcomer Awards’ shortlist and one of the projects was awarded one of the top three prizes. Felix Stockhausen was honoured for his »Velocity« mobility concept, which redefines getting on and off trains with a bicycle.
