Research

My research targets the cross-sections of information retrieval, data mining, and web technologies. I'm writing my PhD thesis about information retrieval as a research tool for the digital humanities. I'm currently part of the DFG project process-oriented discourse analysis, where we develop computational methodologies, algorithms, and a virtual research infrastructure for the analysis of discourses. Since my stay at Adobe Research in 2015, we collaborate with Adobe in the project deep text analytics. I'm also one of the main contributors to the TIRA project, our initiative towards evaluation as a service.
