Building Physics

The laboratories at the Department of Building Physics contain a wide range of instruments which can measure the acoustic and thermal characteristics and moisture content of construction elements. Research and instruction at the Department of Building Physics place strong emphasis on the area of soundproofing and acoustics. The department also operates a climate chamber with which the effects of indoor climate can be tested with the help of the thermal manikin FEELIX.
