New paper in Computers and Geotechnics on the simulation of vibratory pile driving
A new paper in Computers and Geotechnics presents numerical methods for simulating vibratory pile driving of offshore piles in water-saturated sand.
A new open-access article has been published in Computers and Geotechnics, arising from the PhD research of Pourya Kazemi Esfeh (University of Western Australia) and co-authored with Prof. Britta Bienen, Prof. Mark Bransby, and Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
The paper presents and evaluates numerical methods for simulating vibratory pile driving in water-saturated sand, including methodological extensions developed at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
