New research assistant with a focus on soil improvement
We welcome Dexian Lin to the Chair of Geotechnics, where she will strengthen the chair's research activities in the field of modelling vibratory compaction and vibratory pressure compaction.
Dexian Lin will work primarily on numerical modelling of vibro compaction and vibro consolidation, as well as subsequent loading of soil improved using these methods. The developments will be carried out using the finite element programme numgeo.
