DGGT Geotechnical Specialist Sections Meeting (Fachsektionstage Geotechnik)
From 7 to 8 October 2025, the "Fachsektionstage Geotechnik" of the German Geotechnical Society (DGGT) took place at the Congress Centrum Würzburg.
The Chair of Geotechnics of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar took part in the "Fachsektionstage Geotechnik" 2025 (DGGT) and reported on developments related to numgeo. In her talk, Lisa Tschirschky presented laboratory tests and the calibration of material parameters for the numerical simulation of offshore foundations. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Patrick Staubach delivered an invited lecture on contact-mechanics algorithms.
