Open Call: Your project at the Leipzig Book Fair 2018

THE BAUHAUS-UNIVERSITÄT WEIMAR AT LEIPZIG BOOK FAIR: APPLY NOW WITH YOUR WORK!

All students have the opportunity to participate in our Open Call and submit their work by Friday, 2 February 2018, in order to apply for a spot on the exhibition stand of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar at the Leipzig Book Fair.
It is possible to submit works that were created as part of class projects as well as free or group works.

16 students of Visual Communication, Product Design, Media Art and Design and Architecture are working on the »Mixtape« project under the direction of Dipl.-Des. Meike Langer to create the university’s exhibition stand for the Leipzig Book Fair 2018. The design is all about paper: From corrugated paper to tracing paper and Tyvek, all sorts of paper or paper-like materials will be used.

We look forward to receiving applications from all faculties and degree programmes, regardless of whether they have an artistic, cultural or scientific background. The booth should convey the interdisciplinary nature of our university model. By mid-February, the »Mixtape« editorial team will select the works and inform all participants of the Open Call. The selected works will be presented at the Leipzig Book Fair from 15 to 18 March 2018.
