Diejenigen, die gerne Vinyl auflegen, wissen bestimmt: oft finden sich die speziellen Songs auf der Rückseite der Schallplatte. Klar, auf der Vorderseite sind die populärsten Hits und die Hierarchie wurde bewusst so festgelegt. Wahre Fans aber schwärmen von den Schätzen, die sie auf der B–Seite für sich entdeckt haben.Bei Städten ist das ähnlich. Es gibt die bekannten, beliebten, viel besuchten Orte, aber es gibt auch Orte, die nicht alle ansprechen, die man zufällig entdeckt, deren Qualitäten zunächst übersehen werden – vielleicht weil sie etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig sind. Ohne sie jedoch, wären Städte bestimmt weniger aufregend, nicht komplett.Was sind die B–Locations von Weimar? In diesem Blockseminar suchen wir nach ihnen, diskutieren ihre Reize, und stellen im Anschluss einen B–Seiten Guide für Weimar zusammen.
Anyone who likes to play vinyl will surely know that the special songs are often found on the back of the record. Sure, the most popular hits are on the front and the hierarchy was deliberately set that way. But true fans rave about the treasures they discovered for themselves on the flip side. It's the same with cities. There are the well-known, popular, much-visited places, but there are also places that don't appeal to everyone, that you discover by chance, whose qualities are initially overlooked - perhaps because they seem odd and unfamiliar at first. However, without them, cities would certainly be less exciting and not complete. What are the flip side locations of Weimar? In this block seminar we go and look for them, discuss their charms and then put together a flip side guide for Weimar.
