Beverly Engelbrecht studied Architecture at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. She has worked for various architectural firms in Germany and abroad, including Miller & Maranta Architekten in Basel. From 2021 to 2023 she was a research assistant at the professorship Housing Design at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Beverly Engelbrecht has been working on her dissertation with the working title Architekturen der Sexarbeit. An investigation of two neighbourhoods in Berlin. The doctoral project is supervised by Professors Verena von Beckerath and Mona Mahall as well as Dr.phil. Janna Vogl and is supported by the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar with a scholarship as part of the Thuringian Graduate Programme. Since 2023, Beverly Engelbrecht has been an associated fellow in the DFG research training group 2227 "Identity and Heritage".

Patricia Loges studied Architecture at the Technical University of Berlin, the University of Tokyo and the Technical University of Munich. She has worked for various architecture firms in Berlin and Munich since 2020. Since 2024 she has been a fellow in the DFG research training group 2892 "Habitual Change" at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. In this context, she is working on her dissertation with the working title Mikroapartments und die Produktwerdung der Wohnungsnot. The interdisciplinary doctoral project is being supervised by Prof Verena von Beckerath and Prof Dr Stephan Lessenich from Goethe University Frankfurt am Main.

Blerim Lutolli studied Architecture at the University of Prishtina and the Czech Technical University in Prague as well as at the University of Maribor. He worked in architectural offices in Croatia, Slovenia and Switzerland as well as for Gottfried Böhm in Cologne. Since then he has worked as an independent architect and co-founded Lutolli Architects + Partners in Cologne, Prishtina and Munich. Blerim Lutolli took part in the Internationales Promotionsprogramm (IPP), Europäische Urbanistik (IPP-EU) and completed his Ph.D. in 2023 at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. His dissertation, entitled A View of Flexible Housing in Germany: The Potential of Flexible Housing to Cope with the Social Changes of Users, was supervised by Professors Barbara Schönig (first advisor) and Verena von Beckerath.
