Press & Policy

We work to make our results useful beyond the academy, to developers, journalists, and policymakers. In European policy, we serve in the EU AI Act Code of Practice working groups on the transparency of AI-generated content, which shape the rules for marking, detection, and disclosure under Article 50, and we joined the European Commission's technical roundtable on data access under the Digital Services Act. Our research is cited in the UK government's International AI Safety Reports 2025 and 2026, in the UNDP Human Development Report 2025, and in testimony before the U.S. Senate.

We have given invited talks at Google DeepMind, the UK AI Security Institute, and Nokia Bell Labs, and we collaborate with Microsoft Research and the fact-checking NGO codetekt. Our work has been covered by the Wall Street Journal, Nature, Scientific American, and Deutschlandfunk, among others.
