Bits & Bridges @bauhaus
Bits & Bridges @ Bauhaus TechTransferTalks kick off the new semester!
After the successful launch of the Bits&Bridges TechTransferTalk last semester, we are pleased to open the new round with an outstanding figure in Thuringia's innovation and economic development:
Sabine Wosche, Managing Director of the Thuringian State Development Corporation (LEG Thuringia), will speak on "Management between Research and Industry" on
Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. (Lecture Hall C, Marienstraße 13C).
LEG Thuringia is the central economic development and location agency of the Free State of Thuringia. It supports companies, municipalities, and research institutions in investments, innovations, and collaborations between science and business, including:
- Innovation and cluster funding through Innovativ Thüringen – support for technology and network projects in key future fields (e.g., photonics, life sciences, mobility, microelectronics)
- Relocation and site development for national and international companies, for example, in the Erfurter Kreuz industrial park (including CATL, N3 Rolls-Royce/Lufthansa Technik)
- Skilled worker recruitment through the Thuringian Agency for Skilled Worker Recruitment (ThAFF)
- Urban and area development for sustainable site and infrastructure projects
- Statewide cluster management that promotes collaborations between research institutions, start-ups, and industrial partners
We would like to speak with Ms. Wosche about LEG's experiences at the interface between research, business, and politics – and how best practices from Thuringia can provide inspiration for our own technology transfer.
We look forward to seeing you there.
