BENEDIKT KESTLER

HAPPINESS TO GO

(Foto: Benedikt Kestler)

In his series “Happiness-to-go” Benedikt Kestler dealt with the real problems of (german) rail users and designed a number of interactive exhibits which have been developed to make waiting time more enjoyable.

Freezing  while waiting for the train? This situation is a thing of the past now! Benedikt Kestler designed a hand-warming-machine which addresses the real problems of many (german) rail users. After turning a crank for 30 seconds, the machine switches on and rewards the user with warm  hands. No matter if you are waiting at Berlin “Hauptbahnhof” or some village train station - the hand-warming-machine turns this uncomfortable situation into a pleasant one.
This object is part of the series “Happiness to go” – a number of interactive exhibits which have been designed to make waiting time more enjoyable.
