Winterwerkschau 2023

From 3 to 5 February 2023, the student-organised »Winterwerkschau« will take place for the sixth time at the Faculty of Art and Design at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. The students are invited to present their study projects and works with a wide variety of formats over three days. The semester show will be accompanied by information offers on studying at the Faculty of Art and Design.

In contrast to the university-wide annual show »summaery«, the Winterwerkschau is organised independently by the students of the art and design degree programmes and mainly shows works that were created at the Faculty of Art and Design. Participation is voluntary and is intended above all to provide insights into the processual nature of a semester project. Accordingly, not only completed works will be presented, but also those that have not yet reached their final submission status.

The three-day work show with exhibitions, presentations and individual events is a wonderful opportunity for prospective students and parents to gain a detailed insight into the degree programmes Fine Art, Fine Art Education (Secondary School), Media Art and Design, Product Design and Visual Communication.

In addition, teachers offer portfolio consultations that can be taken advantage of without prior registration. An information stand staffed by Bauhaus.Botschafters will also provide an opportunity to talk to students from the faculty about studying and student life in Weimar.
