Project description

M18 as a self-organized house of students turned 20 in 2021. The project is an attempt to reconstruct the history and surrounding circumstances by using interviews with those involved and archival material.

The project consists of a radio piece and an analogue audiowalk.

The audiowalk runs from the university library past limona to the m18 and can be accessed with a portable FM radio (just like back in 2001). If you don't have an portable FM radio, radios can be loaned at m18.

The radio piece is transmitted on bauhaus.fm on 01.02 at 18:00 and is followed by an interview.

More details regarding both parts of the project can be found on the website of m18: m18.uni-weimar.de/m18x20

The audio material is in german.
