The project team brings together hands-on and theoretical expertise with a deep understanding of materiality and design processes. While Mira Müller's experience in craftsmanship and digital fabrication contributes profound material knowledge to the project, Dr. Mara Trübenbach's architectural and theoretical background enables a reflective engagement with broader social and design contexts.
Mara Trübenbach
Dr. Mara Trübenbach has extensive experience in architecture, design education, international practice-based research, and curatorial work. Her approach connects design, theory, and social questions—especially in relation to materiality and the social responsibility of design. She is particularly interested in how emotional and ethical dimensions can be more deeply anchored in design education. Through the research workshop, Mara aims to expand her inquiry into how performativity shapes and informs architectural design practices.
Mira Müller

Mira Müller brings in-depth knowledge of materials and manufacturing techniques gained through her training as a carpenter and her design studies. Her work focuses on the challenges and barriers within craft and technological professions—especially regarding accessibility for underrepresented groups. The research workshop allows her to deepen this perspective within her academic work and to develop a methodological foundation for her research interest in digital crafting.
