Eda Özaltay

Research Assistant

Eda Özaltay is a Research Assistant at the Chair of Computer Science in Architecture and Urbanism at Bauhaus-University Weimar. She studied Architecture at the TU Berlin with a DAAD scholarship and obtained her M.Sc. at Bauhaus-University Weimar. Throughout her studies, she developed a keen interest in sustainable building practices, user-centered design and automation within the architectural field.

She is currently involved in the research project INNOSTROH (Thüringer Aufbaubank) and her focus lies in developing a digital tool to assist architects in the design of load bearing straw bale constructions.
