Shaping the University

The Bauhaus-Universität Weimar recognises the importance of active participation by University members. Participation is a key component of our University culture and is enshrined in our Basic Regulations:

»It is the duty of all status groups at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar to help shape the present and future of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. The Bauhaus-Universität Weimar therefore actively promotes the participation of all its members in the development of the University. It sees itself as a societal role model and a place where the culture of democracy is actively lived and fine-tuned.  It offers space for dialogue, for acceptance of responsibility and for learning participatory processes.«

Quote from the Baisc Regulations of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar (2019)
