Prizes will be awarded in 10 different categories. In each of the categories, there are two parallel strands of competition:

• New European Bauhaus Awards for completed examples/projects.
• New European Bauhaus Rising Stars for concepts or ideas submitted by young people under 30 years of age.

The winners in each category will receive:

• 30,000 EUR and a communication package for the New European Bauhaus Awards.
• 15,000 EUR and a communication package for the New European Bauhaus Rising Stars

The categories address projects in the following areas:

• Techniques, materials and processes for construction and design
• Buildings renovated in the spirit of circularity
• Solutions for the co-evolution of the built environment and nature
• Regenerated urban and rural spaces
• Products and life style
• Preserved and transformed cultural heritage
• Reinvented places to meet and share
• Mobilization of culture, arts and communities
• Modular, adaptable and mobile living solutions
• Interdisciplinary education models

We encourage you to apply for this award with your projects, teaching experiences, study achievements and visions. With our application as the New European Bauhaus, we also want to perspectively create a novel platform and the resources to further develop your concepts, plans and projects in an application-oriented way and in exchange with other disciplines.
