PERFORMING SOIL was developed by the artists Silke kleine Kalvelage and Jan Georg Glöckner, together with the curator/cultural mediator Marcel Hörler. In April, May and June they invited different collaborators from the fields of music, visual arts, textile design, organic farming, performance and dance to three sessions at Vogelherd, a nature reserve in Lichtensteig, St. Gallen.
