The German language course „Deutsch in Weimar“ is once again the highlight of this year’s Bauhaus Summer School. During the 4-week intensive course, we will take our participants on a linguistic and cultural discovery journey. Student will not only improve their German language skills, but also gain insitigts into Germany’s society and history.
Registrations for „Deutsch in Weimar“ are open unil June 15.
In addition to our German course, we will offer eight different specialized courses in the fields of architecture, design, media and technology. The course “Spaces in Transformation,” for instance, examines the relationship between humans and nature using the example of the Thuringian Forest. Participants in “Documentary Storytelling” will shoot their own short documentaries, while students in “Urban Heat Islands” will design climate-resistant cities. There is something for everyone!
You can find an overview of all specialized courses here. The application deadline is May 1.
Are you interested in attending the Summer School but don't have 2–4 weeks time? No problem! With “Creative Skills, Creative Play” and “The Dancing Body,” we are offering two exciting crash courses. They will take place on three afternoons from August 24–26.
You can register until June 15.
We are looking forward to spending the Summer with you!
