THAT WAS THE BAUHAUS SUMMER SCHOOL 2025!

August flew by – over 250 participants from more than 55 countries took part in this year's Bauhaus Summer School! The international summer program of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar not only spread good vibes, but also promoted multicultural exchange and interactive learning.

As every year, the heart of Summer Summer was its exciting and multifacetted course offer: two language courses, seven specialist courses, and three crash courses. Participants spent their days in Weimar improving their German language skills, trying out artistic techniques, and gaining intercultural experiences.

Of course, there was also plenty of time for leisure and relaxation. Movie nights, city tours, excursions, and much more—the supporting program left nothing to be desired!

Before the participants headed home, a real highlight awaited them on the last day: as part of the Open Ateliers, they not only showcased their own wotk, but also got to know the other courses‘ projects. The participants ended the evening at the student club Mascha. One last time, they chatted, danced, and laughed together!

This year's Bauhaus Summer School will be remembered for impressive course results, as well as for new friendships and shared experiences. We are already excited to see what the Bauhaus Summer School 2026 will bring.
