Let's talk about summaery | The summaery2020 will open on Thursday, 30. July via livestream. Prof. Dr. Winfried Speitkamp, President of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, will be giving a digital welcome to visitors at 5 pm. This will be followed by a programme featuring talks with a number of guests who will be discussing current topics while summaery opening projects are presented and livestreamed. Music will be provided this year by new wave, synthpop band from Weimar, iULL.

Since 2007, the annual exhibition summaery has been one of the absolute highlights of the semester: every year in July, the campus of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar is transformed into a living stage. On four days, teachers and students give insights into their work and celebrate the successful completion of the semester. In 2020, Bauhaus-Universität Weimar will again present a wide variety of projects from the first predominantly digital academic year. Current discourses such as the climate crisis, the corona pandemic or dealing with colonialism will be illuminated, as well as subject-specific issues from the Faculties of Architecture and Urbanism, Civil Engineering, Media, and Art and Design. Go on a virtual discovery tour and take part in this extraordinary Experiment Bauhaus! To make sure you don't get lost in the abundance of topics on offer, we have prepared some virtual tours for you here and some Bauhaus Walk special tours of the university's outdoor.
