Since 2007, the annual exhibition summaery has been one of the absolute highlights of the semester: every year in July, the campus of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar is transformed into a living stage. On four days, teachers and students give insights into their work and celebrate the successful completion of the semester. In 2020, Bauhaus-Universität Weimar will again present a wide variety of projects from the first predominantly digital academic year.
Current discourses such as the climate crisis, the corona pandemic or dealing with colonialism will be illuminated, as well as subject-specific issues from the Faculties of Architecture and Urbanism, Civil Engineering, Media, and Art and Design. Go on a virtual discovery tour and take part in this extraordinary Experiment Bauhaus!

2. GREENERATION | How we live sustainable.
In connection with the "Fridays for Future" movement, questions of environmental and resource protection are increasingly coming into focus. Young people around the world are appealing to our collective responsibility to actively work for social change in order to ensure a world worth living in for future generations. But what are the ideas of this GREENERATION? How do they want to contribute to this transformation in concrete terms and what ideas are they concerned with?

3. PANDEMIC | How the crisis changes us.
Face mask, social distancing, spacing. The Corona crisis has burned deep into our collective consciousness. Will the pandemic have a lasting effect on our living together? How will it affect our future plans or our civil rights? And can digital studies replace classroom teaching? In the summer semester 2020, the effects of the pandemic were critically reflected on many occasions. New food for thought raises awareness and paves the way out of the crisis.

4. CORONA | How we protect ourselves.
Corona is here. Corona stays. The more we learn about the ways in which the disease spreads, the better we can protect ourselves in everyday life. In order to find creative solutions for dealing with the novel virus, students and teachers this semester looked beyond the boundaries of their own discipline. This resulted in unusual perspectives, interdisciplinary cooperation and innovative concepts that maintain or even expand human communication.

5. WAVE OF INNOVATIONS | How we break new ground.
For students and lecturers at the university, everything suddenly shifted to the digital space in the summer semester 2020. Numerous new formats emerged in the virtual experimental field: From interactive excursions using 360-degree technology, to computer games that can be tested, to all-round films that can otherwise only be seen in the domed cinema. An interactive digital city tour, short film streaming and online exhibitions - the manifestations of digital summaery are entertaining and offer points of contact for various needs.
