Important Dates

Course registration for the 2023/24 winter semester is from 09 - 19 October 2023 and is done via StudIP.

Courses begin on 1 November 2023.

All language courses are subject to fees. The fees are 45 € for students, 60 € for staff members, and 225 € for guests.

The fees for the courses during the winter semester 2023/24 must be transferred to the following account between 9 and 19 October 2023:

Reason for payment: 9200 + <last name, first name> + course fee for <language, course, group>

Please make sure that the reason for payment is correct so that we can allocate your payment correctly.

N.B.: Please send a copy of the payment document by mail to sprachenzentrum[at]uni-weimar.de. In the subject line, please make sure to include the language with course and group, if applicable. This saves us a lot of work.

Please note that once paid, course fees can only be refunded in exceptional cases. Therefore we urgently request that you do not transfer the course fees until you are sure that you can or want to attend the selected course. Only after your payment is the registration binding and your place in the course confirmed.

If you have any previous knowledge of one of the following languages, you will need to take an online placement test before attending the first course. Prior registration for the placement test at StudIP is required.
