Please complete the course registration via StudIP.

All language courses are subject to fees. The fees for language courses during the semester are 45 € for students, 60 € for staff members, and 225 € for guests.

Please make sure that the reason for payment is correct so that we can allocate your payment correctly.

N.B.: Please send a copy of the payment document by mail to sprachenzentrum[at]uni-weimar.de. In the subject line, please make sure to include the language with course and group, if applicable. This saves us a lot of work.

Please note that once paid, course fees can only be refunded in exceptional cases. Therefore we urgently request that you do not transfer the course fees until you are sure that you can or want to attend the selected course. Only after your payment is the registration binding and your place in the course confirmed.

If you have any previous knowledge of one of the following languages, you will need to take an online placement test before attending the first course at the Sprachenzentrum. This is to ensure that you are placed in a course with the suitable language level. Prior registration for the placement test via StudIP is required.

Hint: The Placement Test does not count towards a grade; it simply helps us to identify the right course for you. We therefore strongly recommend that you take the test without using any translation tools ec.! If you guess the answers or rely on outside help, there is a chance that you could be allocated to a course which is not suitable for you.
