International Teaching@home

International teaching is a large field of action and is not limited to the physical mobility of teachers and students. Internationalization@home refers to the objective and efforts to qualify not only a mobile minority, but all students in all fields of study for a globalized working world:

„Internationalisation at Home is the purposeful integration of international and intercultural dimensions into the formal and informal curriculum for all students within domestic learning environments“ (Beelen / Jones 2015).

Collaborative international online learning (COIL)

Faculty from two or more cultures develop and conduct a teaching project together that emphasizes experiential, collaborative, and intercultural student learning.

INTeach Projekt

INTeach ist ein Projekt zur Förderung und Unterstützung von Internationaler Lehre an der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar und wird von 2021 - 2023 vom DAAD gefördert.

Intercultural competence (Studium.Bauhaus)

The Intercultural Competence project is part of the BMBF-funded Studium.Bauhaus project currently being developed under the motto of “Sustainable.Intercultural.Education”. The aim is to systematically develop and expand intercultural training offers at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar in order to strengthen intercultural competence in the long term as a future-oriented key skill.
