Dear Alumni,
2023 is a special year for the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. The University has a new President and a new Presidium. The Presidium announced their Kick-Off Programme for the next three years at the Inauguration Ceremony. The Programme was developed with the intention of the highest possible level of participation. The Programme also acts as a call to University members to help shape the future of the University, establish a community of values, and to strengthen and sustain a sense of cohesion. Read more about it here. In this issue, we will be sharing information about, among other things, a transfer initiative to support the digitization of Thuringian businesses and how you can become part of a Bauhaus.Module. We also invite you to join discussions on University history as part of the Alumni-Discussions. Alumni voices can be heard in the new neudeli podcast »Auf eigenen Wegen«.

Warm regards and I wish you a stimulating read

Your Silvia Riedel
